IV Symposium of Science for the Sustainable Development

IV Symposium of Science for the Sustainable Development

POWERING HEADERS THAT LEAD A SUSTAINABLE SOCIETY

The SSSD is an international, virtual and free academic activity. We will have the participation of university students from multiple countries.

The Symposium of SCIENCE FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT is an event led by the School of Biological Sciences at the Universidad Latina de Costa Rica, that seeks to visualize and empower research processes developed by students from different latitudes, in the multiple areas of knowledge that are fundamental for achiving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) established by UNDP.

Over the years, this free online event has become an open platform that promotes scientific research through interaction and the exchange of knowledge/experiences between future professionals and academics in Latin America, and beyond.

Because of its online nature we have been able to overcome borders, and promote future collaborative synergies between participants from various countries in Ibero-America. Encouraging a global and thorough vision to address current local and global challenges. As well as empowering future professionals, leaders and decision-makers in processes that allow the sustainable development of their communities.
